The Spanish Tourist Office is offering you the chance to discover the lesser known sides of Spain. Simply submit a photo, video or even some words below, to describe Your Spain with our #DiscoverYourSpain competition. It might be a memory of an encounter or a holiday snap of a breathtaking view, a photo of a picturesque village you’d love to visit or a video of an adventure you simply MUST experience… Anything that demonstrates your take on the perfect Spain; experienced or desired...

For those that have travelled extensively through Spain or for those who are yet to discover the country’s diverse landscapes, climates, architecture, cuisine, languages and indeed, holiday experiences, this competition gives you the opportunity to tell us about travel experiences in Spain and what Spain means to you.

One lucky entrant will win a themed holiday for two, which they can choose from the following six different trips supplied by tour operator partners:

  • Paradores: offering a tour of Spain staying at various different Parador hotels across the country
  • InnTravel: offering walking and hiking tours taking in the stunning scenery of Spain’s countryside, mountains and coastlines
  • Great Rail Journeys: offering the chance to take a winding journey through stunning Spanish scenery across the whole country
  • Kirker: offering the opportunity to discover the rich cultural heritage of Spain
  • aBoatTime: offering the opportunity to discover Spain from the waters, the perfect way to relax and explore
  • Explore!: offering a Spanish adventure with a small group of like-minded explorers

The value of your prize will be £8,000 (that’s a holiday and a half!), so if one holiday doesn’t quite reach that total, you can book two or even three…!! There are two further prizes for the runner-ups:

  • Dinner for two at any Ibérica restaurant in the UK, worth up to £150
  • A case of Rioja wine, worth up to £100

Focusing on contemporary Spanish gastronomy, travel, design, visual arts and music, our spring issue features: a monograph on Cádiz province in the south east of the country with articles on the surf culture of Tarifa and the cities of Cádiz and Jerez; and an overview of the two major events that take over Madrid every February: Madrid Fusión - the gastrofest - and ARCO 2015, the international art fair. You will also find a guide to the cutting edge neighbourhood of Malasaña and the latest in museum and gallery shows. Our Sounds section will tell you all about the upcoming spring music festivals. And we end this season's issue with features on Spanish fashion designer Emilio de la Morena; and the new wave of Spanish architects making waves on the international scene.
